What You Need to Know

Check-in: 4-5 pm EDT Saturday
Check-out: No later than 11 am EDT the following Saturday
Rates: $230/night during high season (late June-Labor Day), $200/night during shoulder season (most of June, September, October)

Pets: Yes! We charge a $50 pet fee for cleaning and all that "fun" stuff. We also have a tether for outdoor playtime.
Smokers: No. If you must smoke, please do so elsewhere and not on the property. Thank you.
A/C: No A/C, but almost all windows open and there are several ceiling fans. We do have heat.
Damage Deposit: A deposit of $250, which is fully refundable assuming no damage to the house during your stay.


What to Do

Walk to:
  • Market Square Park (3 min.): Tennis courts, basketball courts, playground and ample walking around space for your furry friends.
  • Grocery store (5 min.): Glen's carries a wide variety of organic and conventional produce and products.
  • Betsie Valley Trail (7 min.): This 22-mile bicycle and pedestrian-friendly trail connects several small northern Michigan towns and picks up in the heart of Frankfort.
  • Downtown Frankfort (10 min.): Cute shops, trendy restaurants and a restored art deco movie theater within easy walking distance of The Frankfort House.
  • Lake Michigan (15 min.): Walk or bring your bike and head off to a large public beach along Lake Michigan and don't forget to stop by the lighthouse!

Drive to:
  • Arcadia (15 min.): One of the state's most pristine golf courses, Arcadia Bluffs sits overlooking Lake Michigan. Also stop by the "Scenic Lookout" along M-22 for one of the most breathtaking Lake Michigan views.
  • Canoeing and kayaking (15 min.): Some of the best of each is located on the Platte River, just a short drive away.
  • Crystal Mountain (20 min.): Skiing, golfing, spa and more at one of the state's crown jewels.
  • Traverse City (40 min.): Did somebody say "cherries?" Visit the state's Cherry Capital and all its cute mom-and-pop shops. Don't forget to visit the Michael Moore-founded Traverse City Film Festival.
  • Sleeping Bear Dunes (40 minutes): Climb the famous Sleeping Bear Dunes or hike nearby or take in some sun on the beach at one of Michigan's most famous parks.
